Silk Skin Beauty Care Corp. was established in 2003. Founded by Merceda “Ching/Betsy” B. Gonzalez, BSN profession with the background in chemistry, Merceda B. Gonzalez decided seriously to consider formulating her own products. Her guest led her to take further studies and conduct researches, through persistent research, testing and products development of natural derived active ingredients both in the Philippines and abroad.

In 1998 she decided to develop and researched different facial products and product for services. After continuous testing of her own product and improving to its highest standard in quality and performance, she decided to share her invention to everyone by opening her first beauty center in 2000.  Starting her initial business from the comfort of Ching’s home, her venture became an instant success, so she decided to open her first clinic in Unit B & C 225 Aguirre Ave. B.F. Homes Parañaque City and eventually expanded and opened in Alabang Town Center, Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City.  The demand for both her clinic’s services and products kept steadily increasing that now she has added more branches: Park Square 1 in Makati City, Almanza in Las Piñas City, Glorietta 1in Makati City, TriNoma in Quezon City and Batangas. Soon in Subic Ayala Mall.  The clinic's are now known as SILK SKIN BEAUTY DERMA CENTER.

As Expected Ching creativity concentrated her work on Trustworthiness and Quality of Silk Skin products, formulated to emphasize on the nutrient wealth from the best Mother Nature has to offer.  Regardless of gender, ethnicity or age, Silk Skin's Beauty Care products are composed on pure natural principals whose comprised nutrients are for most skin types.  Merceda B. Gonzalez now focuses on marketing, export development, and new product ideas.  She brings to the company a wealth of combined marketing and manufacturing knowledge.
